Do not put all the clothes in it.

If you put a saucer of salt in the cupboard it will absorb any moisture. Regarding the smell I would put these things in a car freshner or similar.

Salt is a good idea. To get rid of the smell, spray clothing with Wizard odor neutralizer. It comes in an aerosol in the air freshener from the warehouse.

Silica gel comes in big packages. It is a drying agent that dries things. If you can, open the cabinets for a bit to let fresh air in.

So, I hang bags of lavender, as in the closet for something to help smell fresher bits.

you should get rid of the wardrobe because they will start to root and mites also being hazy and humid, so they can drink water and then they will eat your business

Try putting mothballs and a few balls and scented wood.
