Beds DirectWhich plants for beds without direct sunlight?

I recently moved into a house and want to make the garden look a little prettier, however, one of the flowerbeds is permanently in shadow, so do not know if something colorful Wil growth? Am also rent so do not want to invest too much money!
Anyone ideas?

Begonias, azaleas, ferns, no flowers, but very pretty, astilbe, Coral Bells, (You can get the begonias in 6 packs)

Tell your annual or perennial? Hosta of all types are the shadow of Love. Also, you could go with Impatiens or wax begonias, which are annual for color.

Hosta likes shade, but for the color, go with bright pink caladium. Hostas are perennials, but are caladium corms and must be dug in the fall and planted each spring.
