Buy Htpc

Buy HtpcI think the purchase of an ultra-thin HP s3500t. Is this a good buy for gaming and HTPC?

Tried to find reviews on the new HP s3500t. Ideally, I wanted to use it for gaming as well as to connect to my flat screen as a Blu-ray player and monitor. I really like the compact design and I think this will be a great HTPC with some ability to play. I installed the NVIDIA GeForce 9500GS 512MB, Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Duo E7200 (2.5 GHz, 3 MB), and 4 GB of RAM. On the basis of brief information, do you think he can achieve what I want?

It looks like a really good PC for everything you need. I ordered a computer on hp.com about a month ago and I could not be happier.

How is your computer now, after a year? We have the same computer, and about two weeks after the one year warranty ended, the computer started crashing, and in one week, it is no longer live. I took it for a computer repair guy, and he ruled out the hard drive, power supply, video card, etc. Report Abuse

Thus, he concluded that it was a bad mother - indeed, when he had the power (but not running), the "Foxconn" heat sink is crazy hot, so he probably thought that the problem. He said we could try to replace the motherboard, but there is no guarantee it will solve the problem, or e Flag

Well for new games that you'll need a better graphics card and issues a better supply of energy to run this card ....
