Contemporary Armchairs

I'm just a small shed Victorian terraced house that I bought recently and can not afford everything at once but in the meantime really need a good, comfortable chair to relax. I do not want to buy just for the pleasure of doing "something", but would like to add later. However, the comfortable chairs chairs look so old fashioned and boring. Can anyone suggest where I might find a contemporary looking chair that would fit with how I have decorated so far; straw walls, walls adjacent to chimney recess covered with a burlap darker (Sp?) Coating of wood on the fire of Brest, a black chrome and gas fire-focal (one of those vent-free and fits on the wall) very catchy! laminate flooring board flooring type. modern lamps, it is equally ... Yes, the house is Victorian but somehow modern decor and mellow corresponds to my state of mind of his time in my life!

We have two chairs that are in the Chippendale style wingback. While standing, they do not even resemble recliners.

I agree with you, most chairs are not made with style in mind, unless saddlebags velvet are your style ...

My son purchased a brown leather recliner premises classified for 40quid, the very modern and very good condition.

Following the example of a girlfriend, I went to the shops used, and finally found a lazy boy who looks more contemporary and elegant. I bought brand new furniture very little, despite having a new home country.
I inherited my mother's house in a city and has retained its old stuff. I think I have recovered, because it will be much cheaper than new - another idea of a lady present interest.
The only drawback to inherit or buy the old stuff is that it is not necessarily what we want for example: refrigerator pantry is not the only time a Twonkies Jolly! You do not know what your problems may have little time after the acquisition!
