Desk Mat

I want to buy something to protect my wooden table so that I can paint figures on without accidentally dropped paint on wood. I do not pay much attention to the color, light or dark, I think so. I do not want one of those hanging over the table, he did not even go over everything, just a kind of carpet.
I have been searching the Amazon and online, but I do not know what they are known as cause I can not find what I'm looking for.

My thoughts .... Protective office, storage, flooring, office, paint protector table, table covers, plastic ..... something like that ... find nothing relevant ...

A canvas is used to protect areas you do not want to paint.

They come in plastic, paper and vinyl. I later. It is more expensive and it has lasted several years. The types of plastic or paper can be thrown in the trash when you're done.

You can buy paintings where ever paint and paint supplies are sold.

Or you could just fill the desktop with newspapers.

I have been building models and more than 20 years, and I always used old newspapers to cover my work area. Much less expensive and much easier to replace.

Personally, I'd just use a cardboard sheet of white paper on it, if it is dyed, you can throw.
