Entryway Coat Rack

What are the items you'd like to see immediately when you are about to leave your home? I'm studying interior design and I was assigned to design furniture for the entrance. I do not want it to be typical as the benches with their drawers, a mirror and coat racks! Any idea is welcome! You should also look sth useful for the disabled or elderly as well.

or shelves with plants on top or on the sides .. hmm with botanical books on the shelves .. lol
