Inflatable Mattress

I thought watching a different mattresses to help comfort.

I'm considering an air mattress, I have friends who use and enjoy the sleep they get. What are the advantages and disadvantages of Health (documented source of preference) to inflatable mattress? In particular, what are the advantages and disadvantages for those who sleep on their side?

And if possible, if the inflatable mattress is a bad option, what would you recommend for a side-bed?

They can be quite comfortable in terms of what works for you. But if you are looking for something real soft, I think you'll be happier with a memory foam mattress. I just got a 2 "one and it's wonderful - certainly helps me sleep better. I'm about to get a softer 3" to see if it works better for me. You can get them on Ebay for less than $ 50 including transportation (for a twin, most are those that cost a bit more).

If you like a soft bed, you'll certainly love the memory foam.

these are just terrible for travel if you ask me

The one we have to travel, an AeroBed is more comfortable than our regular mattress. I sleep on my back and he is very comfortable, even for turning on my side. The con I can think of is that it is a little firmer than a regular mattress, so you do not quite settle down, you just kind of bounce on top.
