Lift Top Coffee Table

I try to build my own coffee table lift top for my wife. I say it would be cheaper to do and much more fun than going to the store and buy one. But I can not for the life of me find this type of hinge is in one of these tables. Thank you! Greg.

manyype Now, lift tables coffee if you just want to cover up, then your going to want a piano hinge, if you wish to raise and lock like having a table top over the base, then you will need a hinge that has extinsion locking capabilities. The simplest would be the paino hinge and make sure to use all screw holes for stability and strength.

To properly support the top when they closed, you need a piano hinge. These run the entire length of the upper part.
