Living room sofa is in the middle of the room and keeps sliding back as we are sitting on it.what do? I have a sofa in the living room which is not against any wall it is rather in the middle.
Whenever we sit on it continues to move backward. I wonder if they sell any cloth that I can put on the couch so that will not slip. or is there something I can do to prevent it from slipping?
It depends on the floor.
for hardwood there are rubber grips.
plastic cups for carpet leg with teeth.
check at hardware stores or floor.
It has been years since I used to Tho not sure if they still make them
You can get the liner perforated tray and put under the slide area. It should help.
hello, if you have carpet on the floor, you can paste the sandpaper to the legs of the sofa, it worked for me. case of a floor without carpet I would use something like a rubber inner tube. Cut the size of sofa legs and glue them in place. luck.
I suppose you have bare floors.
How about a sort of rubber washers under each foot or corners?
Have you checked with your local hardware store for such an object?
You can even buy shelves rubber covers at the local dollar store and cut yourself.
