Oak End Tables

Oak End TablesI have a dark blue sofa, end tables oak and beige carpet. What color should I paint my walls?

My sofa and loveseat in dark blue oak tables, and the center enterntainment with beige carpet. My living room is connected to the dining room. I would like to coordinate together. Suggestions?

Since your furniture and carpets are neutral colors, and then keeping the walls neutral really make your furniture pop. There are different shades of beige and taupe you can watch, and I pictured a cup of coffee with the kind-of color. This may seem boring, but take a look at some of the bands of the sample so that you can see how it would look elegant.

Light blue or light purple.

i wouldnt worry about your walls ... Maybe you should consider buying a new home ... perhaps one that isn't all the colors of the rainbow.

I would go with a light blue / gray

A darker color will make the room appear smaller. You can always use white. Sort .. but it is the norm. Personally, I go with one of two things. is a very pale blue .... as "Robin Egg Blue ".... or off-white color .... ... cream.
Each of these will make your room appear larger.
AND: Good luck.

Powder Blue or cream looks like it could work.

beige or white.

Depends ... you could do something basic shell of a yellow butter, oatmeal or more ... or choose a color in a jet pillow you like and use on the couch .... or choose a color of some works of art in the room.

Much will depend on the amount of natural light and artificial light in your room on a regular basis, and what time of day you use the bathroom.

Get paint chips from the store and put them on the walls ... leave them there a few days and see the colors at different times of day, different light .... narrow your choices from there about 3 or 4, then get paint samples (paint real) and paint a little of each on the wall ... Remember, you will paint on them later! Let those who a few days and look in different light at different times, then make your decision.

Good luck!

Cream

cream or eggshell dust with a gray / blue trim .... the dining room should be the same with oak furniture and a cream colored carpet in focus

I would go with a lighter blue. It fits perfectly with the blue couch and light tables and carpet.Or perhaps a yellow / brown with blue accents around the room like a carpet, tables, candles, etc. adds a little contrast. it also depends on what you want in your dining room and the furniture in there. The yellow / brown you will do different things in the dining room also just blue while coordinating with the show .. The blue will make you kind of stuck on the decorations in the dining room. Try this site, it has a virtual painter for the rooms.

Try a soft butter yellow (unless your room is north-facing Windows, in this case, to avoid jaundice), or bright green (think green vegetable, green water not). Apricot and fishing are also options. If you use a blue wall, your room could become very blue - and while the white has its place, from what you described, I think the white will give your room a light industrial quality - not what you are looking for! To coordinate your living room and dining room, think texture instead of color - use the same color in the two areas with different textures (not to be intimidated, there are many easy painting ends out there that look great ... your local paint shop can provide instructions). Otherwise, find a color you like in your area and use a shade related to your dining room (generally lighter going into your living space and darkest of your dining room). Finally, before you commit to one color, can obtain a sample of your paint store, go home and paint a spot on the wall (about eighteen inches square) in a pleasant setting.
