Roaster Oven Recipes

Hello, I have not an oven, stove top or slow. I have a rotisserie for the moment and want to cook it more often. Does anyone have good recipes that can be grilled, preferably a flat? Ty!

I have an old, and it came with flat glass covered, which can cook an entire meal by placing the dishes at home, based on the cuisine and the requirements of the stack. Think like an oven, only smaller.

You can use it as a regular oven. Just set temp and cover.

TV Dinners.

It can be used as a slow cooker is also great.

Bake Italian Chicken

2-3 lbs. whole chicken, cut into pieces
1 can diced tomatoes or stewed
4 potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
1 onion, quartered
1 small can mushrooms, drained
2 cups sliced zucchini
1 / 8 tsp. garlic powder
1 / 4 c.. dried basil
1 / 4 c.. salt or less


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Wash and cut chicken.
3. Place chicken in a small roasting pan or Dutch oven.
4. Add potatoes, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes and seasoning.
5. Cover and bake for 45-55 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
6. Serve with Italian green beans, if desired.

Slow Cooker Italian Sausage Subs

1 pound Italian sausage
1 red pepper, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 jar (26 ounces) tomato sauce
5 rolls in
5 slices provolone cheese

1. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat cook the sausage until browned. 2. Place in slow cooker.
3. Add peppers and onion.
4. Top with pasta sauce.
5. Cover and simmer 4-6 hours until sausage is cooked.
6. Place sausage in buns warm.
7. Garnish with peppers, onions, tomato sauce and cheese.
