I tried to find the answer and nobody knows. Why nursing majors graduates wearing white robes? Everyone who graduates from a community college or university is black robes and a cap graduation there. Why nursing majors graduate in white robes and cap, why not have graduated in black like the others. So what color cap and gown "doctors" graduate, also what other graduate students in a different color outside nursing students? Do law majors, business majors, education majors graduate in a different color or to study in black dress and a hat?
Thank you. Facts and serious answers please.
So I got my RN and we wore the same color as all other graduate degrees that day. We were all Burgundy ... Color schools. Most caps and gowns schools are schools colors. I saw maroon, black, blue, gold, green, whatever the school decides. I've never seen a nursing graduate students in different colors than others. Registered nurses also have a separate ceremony called "pin" where they are pinned with a rod of RN. We wore white for the ceremony, but he was not at graduation he was separated. Hope this helps
