Wingback Chair

Wingback ChairHow many yards of fabric is needed to repair a wingback chair?

I have two wingback chairs that I'm stuffing and have no idea how much fabric to order ...
I read around 6-11 meters per chair.
It is your standard size chair with the fabric on the arms, instead of wooden scrolls.

Advance thank you!

ps: please do not send me the link mormonchic, it does not say how exactly how.

It depends on the size of repetition in the structure of the fabric. For simplicity, we must think of a fabric which has a 9 "star every 24"

If you cut the most economical to use less fabric, you may find that you've got part of a star from one side of a pillow, one behind someone's head, part a star on one side and part on another side. etc. It was better if there were such a star in the middle of the cushion on both sides, a star on the place where the rest blades, etc., etc. - but to do that will be more fabric. So you have to work a little backwards to select the amount of fabric to buy. Worthy merchant of upholstery will tell you the repetition "of printed and woven into the fabric design - the distance between repetitions of the same motif. This should be integrated in planning the purchase of fabric.

I'm the "buy too much, you will find another use for leftover" camp ... it is much easier than trying to buy fabric matching when you discover that you are 1 / 4 "short court .... :-(

My fabric store has an array of different furniture on this film to use for each
